The decor is now fun and modern.I like it

It is situated in the Xintiandi and it has beautiful surroundings.The food tasted as good as it did.Their decor is a bit off with their pictures, but it feels good to sit on their patio in a cool summer night.

Decoration, music and ambiance are really cool.At the front of the restaurant was a large glass window that allowed us to see into a portion of the kitchen.We watched them make the sandwich which was pretty cool and very interesting to see the work it took to make our fantastic food.

Special, the service was excellent.Staff is friendly and can speak good English. The wait staff really knew each item on the menu and answered every question we asked. We had to be careful though as we almost got over excited and ordered everything the recommended!

I’ve literally fell in love with its ambiance, decorations and overall architecture.Stepping inside Urban Soup Kitchen was like stepping into an authentic eating venue anywhere in Shanghai. We loved the atmosphere and the traditional decorate of dark woods, reds and golds. It felt so warm and welcoming, and was pretty comfortable too although we weren’t there long enough to really put the comfort of the chairs to the test.

Original decoration, delicious food, smiling staff,this place is a perfect spot for business lunch or even for romantic dining.I like this place and would definitely recommend it to friends and visitors.

How can you not love this place!Like the soup options here.Recommend the mushroom soup.Hearty, filled with lotsa mushroom goodness and some beef cubes.Easily the coolest new spot in town. Relaxed but certainly not dull, staff are awesome, very well priced and incredibly delicious food.

We were quick to order the Sandwiches and Delis.The drinks menu was definitely comprehensive, with a pretty large range of standard and creative alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks available.We stuck with ordering a fresh strawberry milkshake and had to force ourselves not to order another so we could leave room for the food! It was fantastic and actually complimented our meal quite well. Not something you would really expect from a milkshake.

When the food arrived,cheese being one of my favorite, I had to try it when it opened, and went back many times since.The quality of the food was top notch but what we loved the most was that the flavours tasted very authentic, rather than catering too much for the western palettes.

Really love the prices here, 40 rmb for a tasty cheese burger is great. The fried rice cakes looked appealing, but considering how much flavour was in the other dishes, we were surprised that these seemed to lack something. Whilst still enjoyable, it just needed a little bit of extra zing to match the impressive flavours of the other dishes.

Oh God, I love this place!They’ve got the perfect combination of food, ambience and atmosphere to greatly spend your chilly Sunday afternoon or your super tasty dinner.

If you are looking for a place to unwind yourself after a long day of work or at weekends, this restaurant definitely tops the list.What impresses me most is the density of their sandwiches.Crispy outside and warm and soft fillings inside, the texture is just right. The taste is absolutely divine.With a convenient location and cosy ambience,it is undoubtedly a highly recommended restaurant!
